Explore Entrepreneurship Pre-doctoral Program
Introduction
The United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) Explore Entrepreneurship Pre-doctoral Program is designed for participants who have a master’s degree (or equivalent university graduate education) and who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. focused on entrepreneurship. Ph.D. programs in entrepreneurship have many forms and the program welcomes students who are considering mainstream entrepreneurship programs, concentrations in entrepreneurship in other disciplines (e.g., strategy, management or public policy) and non-entrepreneurship-focused PhDs where the thesis might align with entrepreneurship subjects. The program is specifically focused on expanding access to the entrepreneurship discipline for diverse students.
The program will draw on the experience of supervisors, directors and existing students. It will aim to provide a detailed introduction for prospective students that may include traditional students, working adjuncts, entrepreneurs and prospective candidates engaging in career transitions.
